spot are available for the
teams from Oceania.
Eleven
teams battled it out for
the right to play-off for a
place at the 2014 World Cup
in Brazil. The four lowest
ranked teams contested
round one in November 2011.
The winner here was placed together with seven
ranked
teams in stage 2. Winners
and runners in stage 2 then qualified for a final
group stage where the winner
was qualifed
for a final play off against
nr.4 in the
North & central American
qualification.
